Rising Voices

The Rising Voices program creates multi-year immersive community-based theatre residencies with young people in disenfranchised communities worldwide. Facilitated by ITP professional teaching artists in partnership with local schools, community centers, orphanages, and arts organization we offer young people 2-5 week theatre residencies where they write and perform original ensemble plays for their community.

Leading Acts

Leading Acts is a mentorship program for students who have worked with ITP for four years or more, through which they are trained to be theatre teaching artists. The program invites them to use their experience and skills to create their own community-based workshops that focus on development and empowerment for young people as future leaders.

Open Doors

Open Doors is a new program for ITP that creates long and short term residencies and workshops for immigrant communities in New York City to help new and recent immigrants adjust and thrive in a new country.

Stefan Nowicki Camp Treetops Scholarship Program

Each year ITP founding Board Member Stefan Nowicki awards a scholarship to two children from ITP's programs in South Africa or Rwanda to attend a seven-week Summer camp in the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York.
