ITP returns to Philipi Township outside of Cape Town, South Africa for year eleven of our RISING VOICES residency with a special tour of the original student plays throughout Townships outside Cape Town. This year we are expanding our by adding a new community partners. We will increase the number of young people we work with.

In 2018 ITP finished a seven year residency at the Agahozo Shalom Youth Village, an orphanage and boarding school for some of Rwanda's most vulnerable youth. We e are exploring new residencies in Kigali and at the Rwinkwavu Library and Community Center in rural Rwanda.

OPEN DOORS is a new program ITP will pilot in the next year creating residencies for immigrant communities in New York City.
